The whole cypress Hanare, yours alone
A sukiya-style, all-cypress detached house with a veranda and garden. The whole Hanare is yours, in a separate building from the main house. Nothing is shared with the host.
We do not accept men-only stays.

Layout and facilities
The Hanare has a living-dining room (16 tatami mats), bedroom (6 mats), massage-chair room (3.8 mats), bath, toilet, veranda and garden. The host lives on the second floor of the main house on the same grounds.

Rates, capacity and breakfast
¥50,000 per whole house, per night (tax included). The room rate is the same for up to 4 adults, and any number of children may stay. Larger families, please ask.
Breakfast for two is included. From the third adult, breakfast is ¥1,000 per person. For children up to junior-high age, the first child is free and each additional child is ¥500.
Consecutive nights are ¥5,000 off per night from the second night.
Meals and port pick-up
Dinner is by reservation. Choose the same menu for everyone in your party: Japanese-Western course, olive beef sukiyaki or olive beef barbecue (¥5,000 per person each), or the pork fillet cutlet set (¥3,000 per person).
We collect you at the port. Tell us your port and arriving ferry when you book. There is parking for 2 cars.
Booking and cancellation
Direct bookings are confirmed in this order: enquiry, availability reply, then bank transfer to Japan Post Bank by 3 days before your stay. Transfer fees are paid by the guest.
Cancellation is free up to 3 days before your stay, 50% from 2 days before to the day before, and 100% on the day. When we hand over the key, the lead guest is asked to show photo ID.

Is the whole house private?
Yes. You have the whole Hanare, a separate building from the main house. Nothing is shared with the host.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 4 adults; no limit on the number of children. Larger families, please ask.
Can men stay on their own?
We do not accept men-only stays in the Hanare. The tatami room upstairs in the main house is for women only.
